X-Factor had been called to the scene where hours earlier near Central Park, there was a battle between the X-Men, the Hellfire Club, and Nimrod, “a mutant-hunting robot determined to slaughter them all”.
The police department had grown weary of mutants and superpowered beings, and would rather “deal with real human beings”. Ironically, X-Factor are the original X-Men in disguise.
From a distance, X-Factor spot Magneto entering the Hellfire Club. Warren wonders if they should pursue Magneto. Scott is cautious of blowing their cover so for now they will just keep watch.
